Trent’s cancer diagnosis became the catalyst for something bigger—both personally and professionally. With the support of his friend and now co-founder, Dr Harry Weisinger, who had survived the same disease years earlier, Trent began to reassess everything: from the medications he was taking to his long-term approach to pain, inflammation, and recovery.
“I went on a deep dive about how I could get off some of these drugs,” Trent told Men’s Health. “What I’ve seen with the medical community—when I told people what we were doing [with curcumin]—there was a nod. They’re like, ‘Yeah, we know there’s some good stuff there.’”
During treatment, Trent and Harry began researching plant science, focusing on curcumin and its emerging potential as a natural anti-inflammatory. The result was a business plan drafted from a hospital bed—one that would become KURK, a fast-absorbing, liquid curcumin solution powered by Micelle+ technology.

“Most people have inflammation in some form,” Trent explained. “They might call it calcification or something else, but that’s when inflammation is actually attacking the tissue. We built KURK to help manage that—naturally and effectively.”
By developing a formulation that delivers 185x better absorption than standard turmeric supplements, Trent and Harry set out to solve a widespread problem with a high-quality, science-led solution.
Today, KURK is trusted by athletes, medical professionals, and everyday people managing chronic pain, arthritis, fatigue, and inflammation. And behind it all is a story rooted in lived experience, deep research, and a shared commitment to better health.
We’re proud to see Trent’s journey featured in Men’s Health Australia this month in the feature article:
